"My Chinese mirrors" is an interactive video installation. A display device (or video projections) and webcams are attached to walls. As soon we are facing, animated portraits of people from Hong Kong, Guangzhou and elsewhere in Asia appear randomly reproducing real-time position of the viewer, so that we have the impression to be facing a mirror. But reflection returned here is not his own but that of others. An original computer program for the detection and restoration of movements has been developed for the occasion by me and belongs to the process of creating the same way as the photo-shooting.
